Wawielpark is situated on the banks of the Vaal River on the Free State side, 30km from Klerksdorp and 45km from Potchefstroom. It’s absolutely wonderful to spend time next to the river, whether you’re fishing, canoeing, using the paddle boats, or just relaxing, visiting with friends in the fresh air with the smell of “braaivleis” wafting by. Wawielpark is a paradise for children, with an Indoor heated pool (Residents Only), 4 Cold water pools, Wave pool, 3 Free water slides, Trampoline’s, Play Parks etc.
We have a large variety of top quality accommodation available, for business men, families, singles, and honeymooners. We have great camping facilities, with 3 ablution blocks.
Day Visitors are very welcome; we also cater for Groups (Bookings Essential)
