We are a well established and appointed country holiday resort situated on the banks of the mighty Vaal River in the Free State Province and caters for a wide variety of needs, ranging from those who just simply wanting to enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of the city with their families to those perceptive business men and women looking for a serene, exclusive place to have their "bosberaad".  Our infra structure and facilities are of the highest standard, well kept and highly maintained.

Accommodation

Wawielpark offers various types of units, ranging from camping to luxury chalets to suit the needs, size and budget of the holidaymaker.  All accommodation is within walking distance to all facilities.  Apart from the "bring along" items all our units are fully equipped and tastefully furnished.  Some units are equipped with TV and Dstv.

Temperatures:

Summer months between October and March can reach a high of 40 degrees during the day and night temperatures as high as 20 degrees.  During the winter months between April and September it can get as low as -5 degrees during the night and 12 degrees during the day.  Whatever the weather provides, there is always something exciting to do at Wawielpark.
